The BAMC Cove Fitness Center is located on the second floor in CR 262 and is available for use by all building employees only. Waivers are required prior to having badge access to the gym. Lockers are available for daily use as well as full shower facilities and free towel service.

Hours of Operation

Monday – Friday (6:00 AM to 7:00 PM)

The fitness center will not be open for use on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and other locally or nationally recognized holidays as designated by Landlord.

The center is equipped with Life Fitness cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, cross trainers and stationary bikes. There is also a full line of Life Fitness strength equipment, free weight equipment and other functional pieces such as fitness tubing, Physio balls, jump ropes, and etc.

Fitness Center Rules and Regulations

The following rules and regulations are intended to make the fitness center safe, enjoyable and pleasant. These rules apply to all users and might be amended periodically by BAHA.

 

  1. Use. Users shall be limited to building occupants only. Users shall use the facilities and related equipment solely for weight and cardiovascular training on the equipment provided. Users shall not misuse or use the facility and related equipment in any manner that will cause property damage or bodily injury. Users shall not install, nor tamper with or remove, any equipment in the facility. No person may use the facility without signing a release and waiver. Guests are not authorized to use the facility, and users may not grant access to the facility, nor permit the facility to be used, by any unauthorized persons.  The fitness center may only be used by adults over the age of 18. Children will not be allowed in the fitness center at any time.
  2. Cleaning Guidelines.
    1. Place used towels in designated bins.
    2. Wipe down machines, mats, and fitness equipment after use. Wet towel wipes will be provided.
    3. Dispose of trash and recycling in the designated receptacles.
    4. Water and other permitted beverages must be in closed containers.
  3. Fitness Center Trainers. Users who wish to hire personal trainers through “Luxe Fit” and or use the facility for any other outside training must ensure that the trainer has completed a release and waiver prior to scheduling training. All scheduled events will need to be approved by Building Management in advance.
  4. Equipment use: Return free weights and other equipment to their proper place after use. Avoid dropping weights or leaning weights against walls, mirrors or equipment.
  5. Clothing. The minimum attire at the facility is gym shorts, T-shirts, socks and tennis shoes. Any conventional exercise attire is permissible, including leotards and tights, warm-up suits, etc. Sneakers, tennis shoes or similar footwear must be worn at all times.
  6. Locker use. For safety and security reasons, gym bags, purses and other bags are not allowed on the fitness center floor and should be stored inside the day-use lockers. Users will be required to bring their own lock for day-time use. Overnight storage is not permitted in the day-use lockers. Items left overnight will be removed.
  7. Conduct. Any conduct that unreasonably interferes with the use or enjoyment of the facility or the equipment by others or disrupts or interferes with normal, safe, orderly and efficient operation is strictly prohibited. Personal audio equipment may not be used without headphones.
  8. Smoking. Smoking of any kind or consumption of tobacco products is strictly prohibited in the facility.
  9. Solicitations and Petitions. Solicitation for the sale of any product or service, or for charitable contributions, and petitions of any kind, are strictly prohibited.
  10. Identification. Upon request by building personnel, users must show their access card badge for identification purposes. BAHA assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen badges.
  11. Food and beverage. Food and beverage may not be brought into the facility for consumption, except for bottled water or sports beverages. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
  12. Notices, Complaints or Suggestions. Users must immediately notify BAHA if they discover unsafe or hazardous defects or conditions relating to the facility or equipment. Complaints or suggestions regarding the operation, maintenance, services and equipment at the Center should be directed to Building Management at 375bealest@cushwake.com or (628) 220-2080.
  13. Maintenance. No user may leave litter, trash, debris or articles of clothing at the facility. The entry door must be kept closed at all times.
  14. Emergencies. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911 and then contact Building Security at (628) 220-2090.
  15. Access Card Use. Users must keep their access card in their possession at all times until required or requested to surrender them by BAHA, and in no event may they lend or transfer them to another person. In the event of a lost or misplaced key, users must notify Building Management immediately.
